Vaiva brings over 15  years of experience in healthcare, with a foundation in pharmacy and a focus on biostatistics for clinical research. She holds a PhD in Statistics from Hasselt University and currently serves as Senior Scientist at IDDI, where she supports biotech and pharmaceutical teams with statistical consulting across oncology, asthma, sepsis, and osteoarthritis.

She advises on clinical trial study design, data interpretation, and patient-centered analysis strategies. Her academic work has advanced the methodology of Generalized Pairwise Comparisons (GPC), particularly in trials with censored or missing data, and she co-authored the methodological book on GPC published by Routledge.

Vaiva helps clinical development teams align statistical methods with study goals, improve endpoint definition, and generate interpretable results that support decision-making and communication. She is a member of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics, the American Statistical Association, and the Société Française de Statistique.
