Linda Danielson, MSc
Chief Executive Officer
Linda Danielson was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in January 2023. She joined IDDI in 2006 as Statistical Advisor. She became Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2011 and Executive Vice-President (VP), IDDI Inc. in 2016. Ms. Danielson has been key in the operational development of the company, including its US branch in Raleigh, North Carolina. Linda obtained her M.S. degree in Biostatistics in 1990 from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a B.A degree in mathematics and French from St Olaf college in Minnesota. She has over 30 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry and in the Clinical Trial environment. Before coming to IDDI in 2006, Linda was the Head of Biostatistics at UCB Pharma in Belgium. Prior to moving to Belgium in 1993, Linda provided statistical support for the Beaver Dam Eye study at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Serge Bodart, MSc
Chief Commercial Officer
Serge has been CCO at IDDI since 2019. With an engineer background in telecommunication, Serge has been serving the Belgian army for 20 years as a helicopter pilot. He entered the clinical research arena in 2000 as a pioneer in Electronic Patient Reported Outcome (ePRO / eCOA). In 2000, he co-founded Symfo, a Belgian company that pioneered the electronic collection of Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO). After he sold his business in 2012, he acted as the global electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) Subject Matter Expert at Biomedical Systems and led the company’s Sales and Marketing efforts. He later joined Bracket – a clinical trial technology and specialty services provider as a Senior Advisor for Outcomes Science with a worldwide sales, marketing and account management focus. Serge is based in Montreal, Canada and holds a master’s degree of Science in Telecommunications from the Polytechnic Division of the Royal Military Academy in Brussels, Belgium.

Marie-Pierre Debroas
VP, Human Resources & Administration
Marie-Pierre has been VP, Finance & Human Resources at IDDI since 2011. Before joining IDDI in 2003, Marie-Pierre started her international career in New York City in 1996 as Assistant Director at EFAP (L’école des nouveaux métiers de la communication). In 1995, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois in the United States.

Judith De Kempeneer
VP, Global Operations & Business Operations
Judith was appointed VP, Global Operations & Business Operations in January 2023. With a background in Mathematics Sciences Judith has been in the CRO Industry since 1996. She started her career at IQVIA in the Data Management Department growing to a lead data management position liaising with customers in concern of the data management activities. She then built and managed Clinical Data Management Department at CROMSOURCE for 3,5 years. She then joined IDDI in 2005 as Process Improvement Manager Responsible for the creation of the Central Randomization and Drug Supply Management Department, and moved into the position of VP Business Operations in 2007.

Tara Kervin, MPH

Tara Anne Kervin has been the VP Global Operations & Consulting and VP, IDDI Inc. since 2023. Before joining IDDI in 2022 as Managing Director, IDDI Inc., Tara started her diverse career in the pharmaceutical and clinical trials industry at a Covidien manufacturing plant in the documentation and compliance department. She later joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. in 2010 and served in various management positions until 2021, starting as a Research Assistant responsible for Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC) coordination, project management, and scientific report writing to ultimately serving as the Director of Operations of the company. She led the contracts, proposal, and business operations at Statistics Collaborative for nearly a decade. Tara obtained her B.A. degree in Psychology in 2009 from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and later went back to school part-time to obtain her M.PH. In Epidemiology in 2015 from the George Washington University. Tara has served as the Independent Reporting Statistician or Statistical Programmer for a wide variety of late-phase studies, and she is particularly passionate about clinical trials in psychiatric disorders, rare diseases, and best practices in IDMC reporting and coordination.

Christophe has been Financial Director at IDDI since 2022. He started his career as Financial Auditor at Deloitte Belgium in 2010. Christophe then joined VELUX Belgium as Finance Manager in 2013. He obtained a master’s degree in Business Engineering, Technology and Finance, from the Louvain School of Management – University of Namur, Belgium in 2010.

Eric Mees has been in charge of IDDI’s Privacy Program since 2019. Eric holds a Master in Sociology from the UCLouvain and an Executive Master in Management from the Solvay Business School – ULB. He also obtained a certification in ISO 9000 Quality at ICHEC and a degree in Social & Economic Ethics at the Chaire Hoover of UCLouvain. Eric has over 30 years experience in data processing and privacy program management. After 15 years at IMS Health as Operations Director he acted as freelance on projects related to processing of sensitive data and data protection compliance. He gained experience in business process management, knowledge management and compliance projects.

Marc Buyse, ScD
Founder and Board Member
Marc Buyse is founder and Board Member of IDDI and Associate Professor of Biostatistics at the Universiteit Hasselt. He holds degrees in engineering and statistics from Brussels University (ULB), management from the Cranfield School of Management (Cranfield, UK) and a doctorate in biostatistics from Harvard University (Boston, MA). He was the recipient of several research fellowships in Belgium, the US and Japan. He was President of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics, President of the Quetelet Society, and Fellow of the Society for Clinical Trials. He worked at the EORTC (European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer) in Brussels and at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston prior to founding IDDI in 1991. He has published extensively in the fields of clinical trial methodology, meta-analysis, statistical detection of fraud, validation of biomarkers and surrogate endpoints, and drug development in oncology and ophthalmology.

Amy Furlong, MS
President of the Board
Amy Furlong has joined IDDI as President, Board of Directors leveraging her 30-year career in the clinical research industry. Currently, Amy serves as a strategic consultant to clinical technology and service organizations in the life sciences industry supporting product innovation, operational scalability and value creation through strategic planning and execution. Previously, she also served as COO at YourEncore (acquired by Advarra) leading a successful organizational transformation. Amy spent 20 years at ERT (now Clario) as Executive VP, Cardiac Safety and eClinical Product Lines and former COO driving new market share, creating synergistic savings and growth through global acquisitions and building scalable quality-focused operations.
Amy earned a Master of Science in Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Temple University. She has been named among Pennsylvania National Diversity Council’s 2016 Most Influential Women. Amy has been published as a contributor in Cardiac Safety of Noncardiac Drugs Practical Guidelines for Clinical Research & Drug Development.

Linda Beneze has 40 years of experience in the medical device and clinical trial software industries, as CEO, CRO, President, and VP of Sales, Marketing, and Client Services, in both large multi-national companies as well as start-ups.
Beneze is well-versed in strategic planning and execution, building high performance teams through mentoring and strong people development skills, product innovation, and market leadership. She has her B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Having graduated with an MSc in Applied Statistics, Rob spent 7 years in the public health research departments of world leading academic organisations including LSHTM and Imperial College. He then entered the pharmaceutical industry where he was responsible for delivering high quality commercial and operational strategic solutions while working for global Contract Research Organisations (IQVIA) and clinical technology companies (Phase Forward and Oracle), while also being part of the board (and chairing) the ACDM industry body. Subsequently he took the knowledge gained while working for large established companies and applied in start-up, scale-up, and fast-growing ones in the eClinical space (including eDC, RBM and eCOA specialist companies). He now works as an independent strategic advisor to eClinical, CRO, industry bodies and investment organisations.

Damien Tremolet

Damien Tremolet has been CEO of IDDI from September 2009 to December 2022. He holds degrees in information technology from Paris XI and management from ICHEC Brussels. He worked as IT Project Leader in the space, energy and railway industries before joining the pharmaceutical arena as IT Manager and Director of Operations for IDDI. He led Client Services in France and Belgium and set up an operational branch in Paris for Perceptive Informatics. He is keen to build long-term partnerships with clients and to promote the use of advanced methodology and integrated technology in clinical trials. Damien enjoys outdoor activities particularly trail running and sailing.

Henri Tassenoy is a Consultant in business management, trained by the Belgian Chamber of Accountants and “Bank” postgraduate. With approximately 12 years spent in the former General de Banque in various departments, Finance Management for 6 years of its subsidiary Capital Development: Former Synerfi. For 15 years, Henri Tassenoy has served as Independent Administrator of IDDI and companies active in various fields: advertising, real estate, wholesale trade. Henri provides consultancy in financial management, pre-acquisition auditing, restructuring and entrepreneurship.

Gery Lefebvre, MBA

Gery Lefebvre is Investment Manager at SRIW SA. He has several non-executive memberships in biotech start-ups/spin-off and companies active in the life science and industrial business.
In 1995, Gery Lefebvre graduated in Business Administration from HEC-ULg and started immediately his career in Credit Management with Atradius and then in Corporate Banking at HSBC Paris.
In 2002, he obtained a post-graduate Master in Taxation from HEC-ULg. After that he moved to Albemarle Europe where he was responsible for Treasury Management and Working Capital Optimization.
Between 2009 and 2014, he was the CFO of Belgian Advanced Technology Systems SA.
